Battle of Britain Commemorative Stamps

The Post Office has just brought out a set of commemorative stamps in recognition of The 75th Anniversary of the BoB.

One of the set of six shows 610 (County of Chester) Squadron Spitfires on patrol.  Others show Hurricanes, Spitfires, Ground-crew, Observers and Ops Room Personnel going about their Duties.

Of all the sixty three squadrons to take part in the BoB it is brilliant that 610 has been chosen for this depiction.  I don’t expect many will be used on envelopes and sadly they don’t sell sheets of the 610 Spitfire stamp on its own, but if you can get hold of a set (£6-40 for the presentation pack), it should certainly appreciate in value.
